Norwich City and Southampton are involved in a head-to-head battle to win the services of Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly.

Koulibaly has been widely tipped to play in the Premier League this summer and it was recently reported that Southampton were in talks to sign the French defender for a fee of around £8.5million.

However, it has now been claimed by the Daily Mirror that the Canaries are interested in signing Koulibaly and the newly-promoted Premier League side are looking to hijack the move for the former Genk star.
