Aston Villa are closing in on Norwich City striker Grant Holt.
The Daily Mail says new Villa boss Paul Lambert is hoping to bring Holt to Villa Park.
West Ham have made a £4m bid for Holt, but the 31-year-old - who handed in a transfer request at Carrow Road last month - is expected to favour a move to link up with Lambert once more.
