Norwich City have acquired the services of young Fulham defender Adrian Leijer on loan. The former Melbourne Victory man will join fellow Australian David Carney at Carrow Road until the end of the season.

New Canaries assistant Ian Crook knows Leijer from his time in the A-League which manager Bryan Gunn pointed out.

"Adrian is someone who Ian Crook has worked with in Australia and he will provide us with extra cover for the remainder of the season."
