Russell Martin has spoken of his excitement at coming up against in-form Polish striker Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski has scored 16 goals in his last eight games for both club and country and will be Poland's main threat as the Scots get set to host them at Hampden Park on Thursday.
However, Norwich City captain Martin has spoken of his confidence ahead of the meeting with the star attacker.
Martin said: "He is one of the best players I have played against. His goal record and the form he is in at the minute speaks for itself. He is different, but as a defender you look at where you can affect and influence them throughout the game.
"It is up to us to stop them. I enjoy and relish challenges like that. That is why I have worked so hard to get where I am just now in my career."
Martin and his Scottish teammates will need to be at their best to stop Poland and produce a victory, which may keep Scotland's Euro2016 hopes alive.
