Norwich City skipper Grant Holt was aware of the summer rumours linking him with today's opponents Sunderland.

Holt was heavily linked with a move to Sunderland before he signed a new three-year contract with Norwich.

He said: "Obviously, there was a bit of haggling over my future in the summer and I heard about the links with Sunderland.

"But I'm delighted to still be a Norwich player and I'm pleased ­everything got sorted out."
