Norwich City captain Grant Holt is remaining calm despite some calls for a possible future England selection.
The 30-year old striker netted his 10th Premier League goal of the campaign as his Canaries lost 2-1 to Manchester United, prompting some suggestions that he could soon be involved in the national team setup.
But Holt was not getting too carried away with that talk saying he is just happy to be playing well for his club.
"People can write and say what they want, but it's up to the people at the top to pick the teams, if they decide I'm not good enough, then that's fine.
"I'm having a great time, enjoying life, feeling in great shape, I'm fit, I'm strong and at the moment I'm really enjoying my football.""I'm not holding my phone tightly in my pocket and waiting," he said.
