David Marshall admits he ignored a plea from Celtic boss Gordon Strachan to stay after signing with Norwich City this week.
Marshall, who has signed a three-year contract, said: "I did not want to go back to Celtic after six months of playing on loan at Norwich and sit on the bench.
"I had a good feeling of coming here, I'm glad to eventually come down here."
Norwich manager Peter Grant said: "Gordon Strachan wasn't too keen to let him go but we pursued it and I think Gordon got sick of listening to me going on and on and eventually agreed,"
