Norwich City signing Sebastien Bassong has taken a swipe at Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas.
Bassong, sold to Norwich this week in a £3m deal, warned Villas-Boas he had his work cut out to emulate Harry Redknapp's achievement.
"It's going to be really difficult for them," Bassong said. "All the teams are really strong. There are seven teams who can get into the top four and with every year that goes by you have to get better and better.
"On the small details you have to be almost perfect and that's just to reach the top four, let alone win the Premier League. I wish them luck and if they work hard, they can do it."
The Cameroon defender, who spent three years at White Hart Lane, also added that Villas-Boas's training methods had been completely different from those of Redknapp.
"Training was radically different," he told talkSPORT. "AVB came with his thoughts and his way of working and from the first training session, we saw the difference. I'm not saying it was better or worse, just totally different.
"Everything we did was with the ball. There was no straight-line running but at the end of the day we were really fit. You're talking about two different ways of seeing football but we weren't used to it after working with Harry and the British coaches for a while.
"With the ball, it's always more enjoyable and I think the boys have generally been enjoying the sessions."
