Norwich City defender Michael Turner feels the teams strong form at Carrow Road can help them steer clear of relegation.
The Canaries currently sit 13th on the table - eight points form the drop zone - and Turner is confident that picking up enough points at home will assist them in remaining clear of the bottom three.
"I think at home we have always felt confident that we can at least pick up points from games, and I think we have shown that," he told the Norfolk Eastern Daily Press.
"There have only been a couple of games where we have really let ourselves down. Apart from those, we have been strong and we have always felt that we have got a chance of beating teams.
"We will obviously be taking on every game fully focused and aiming to put more points on the board.
"We have got a bit of breathing space between ourselves and the bottom three, but we know what we need to do to stay clear of it and Southampton is a huge game where we will be looking to put in a performance at home again."
