Norwich City youngster Korey Smith will stay with Oldham Athletic until the end of the season.
The versatile 22-year old originally arrived at Boundary Park from Carrow Road on March 15 but the loan stay has been extended subject to Premier League and Football League approval.
The midfielder has been operating in both the middle of the pitch and at right-back for the Latics and has impressed so much that manager Lee Johnson is keen to keep him until the end of the campaign.
