Norwich's Jackson an important player for Canada says De Rosario

Canada national team star Dwayne De Rosario is a big fan of Norwich City striker Simeon Jackson.

The 25-year old is now a Canucks regular and De Rosario feels that he has plenty to offer the team who are preparing for their World Cup qualifier against Panama on Tuesday.

"Sim's like a little spark plug," De Rosario said.

"He just keeps going and going and tires the defence out. He's the kind of player who wears on a defence, and we need that. He has great speed but he also has great awareness."

Canada currently sits at the top of CONCACAF's Group C table with seven points from three outings following their 1-0 home win over the Panamanians on Friday.
