Celtic great Chris Sutton has warned Gary Hooper that he may one day regret leaving the club.
The prolific striker has departed Celtic Park to join Premier League outfit Norwich City but ex-Hoops and Canaries talisman Sutton fears there may be a case of remorse somewhere down the track.
"Gary's made his decision and he would have pondered it, but I'm not sure I'd have made that one. Celtic is a big club and he might regret leaving," said Sutton who scored a number of goals for both clubs in question.
"Can you compare the two clubs? I don't want to be disrespectful to Norwich, and I have to be careful because I live there, but no.
"They are two totally different clubs and he will have a difficult season. If there was a criticism of Norwich last season it was that they weren't overly attack-minded.
"At Celtic he'd have been playing in a team creating lots of chances, but at Norwich he will need to take whatever chances come his way.
"Hooper will score goals if he gets the chances but it's just getting them. I can see why Norwich signed him but I know where I would rather play."
