Norwich City have turned down an ambitious bid from Melbourne Heart for striker Grant Holt.
The 32-year old Englishman, who has scored 23 goals over the past two Premier League seasons, was the subject of an offer from the A-League club which was quickly thrown out by the Canaries.
The Norfolk club value the former Shrewsbury Town, Nottingham Forest and Rochdale man at around £2million.
Holt, who joined Norwich in 2009, is attracting the interest of newly-promoted Hull City as well as Sunderland.
