Norwich City are lining up a bid for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle.

The Mirror says Gayle is being monitored by Premier League new boys Norwich.

The Crystal Palace striker underlined his finishing prowess with a fine hat-trick in the Eagles' 5-3 friendly win at Barnet.

But Gayle is not guaranteed regular first team action at Selhurst Park after making 14 League sub appearances and just 11 starts last term.
