Norwich City have offered skipper Grant Holt a bumper new contract.

The striker handed in a transfer request last week, news which alerted Sunderland and Aston Villa.

The Daily Mail says the Canaries, who rejected Holt's transfer request, have offered the centre-forward a new three-year deal worth up to £20,000-per-week.

Holt is currently the club's top earner on £15,000-per-week and still has two years left to run on his existing deal.
