Norwich City have made a move for Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland.
The Mirror says he Canaries are considering a swoop for the highly-rated teenager after it emerged that former boss Paul Lambert was attempting to lure current No 1 John Ruddy to Aston Villa.
Butland is third-choice in England's Euro 2012 squad having been called up later following an injury, ironically, to Ruddy.
New Norwich boss Chris Hughton knows all about Butland's credentials having worked with him at St Andrew's last year - in between loan spells at Cheltenham Town - and is prepared to offer £4million for the 19-year-old.
