Norwich City midfielder Bradley Johnson admits he was an Arsenal reject.
The former Leeds United star was offloaded by Arsenal as a 15 year-old.
Johnson told the Mirror: "It was Liam Brady at Arsenal who told me I wasn't good enough at the time. I was heartbroken.
"I cried for weeks and weeks and there was a period of about a year and a half where I almost turned my back on football.
"It was only because my dad Keith and my mum Karen believed in me so much that I am where I am today.
"I don't hold anything against Arsenal. I'm still a big fan and I've been back to Arsenal since. I've played there and its nice that they've seen how well I've done."
