Norwich City matchwinner Anthony Pilkington enjoyed his revenge on Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson on Saturday.

Pilkington nodded home the winner at Carrow Road.

Fergie admitted he could not remember the player when he was a junior at United.

Pilkington, 24, said: "I wasn't offended he didn't know who I was but I might be after this.

"I missed a few chances to score at Old Trafford last season, so it was nice to redeem myself in this one.

"Whenever you play Manchester United, no matter who you are, it always gives you a little bit more motivation."
