Norwich keeper Ruddy open to England recall

Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy says he's available for England's friendlies against the Republic of Ireland and Brazil.

Ruddy returned from more than five months out injured to play his part in a 4-0 win over West Brom on Sunday that ensured the club's Premier League safety.

"Definitely," he said. "England have got two friendlies in the summer and to be involved in that squad would be fantastic. Whether or not it has come too soon remains to be seen.

"Obviously, it would be fantastic to be given the opportunity. Wes and Pilks (Wes Hoolahan and Anthony Pilkington) could be in the Irish squad. It would be a good game to play."
