Norwich keeper Ruddy open to Chelsea move

Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy is open to moving to Chelsea.

A £5 million bid from Chelsea has already been turned down by the Canaries.

The London Evening Standard says Ruddy would not rule out a move to Stamford Bridge, despite the competition, as it would give him a chance to play for one of the best teams in the country.

It looked like new manager Jose Mourinho would make a move to bring Diego Lopez, who started ahead of Iker Casillas for much of last season, with him from Real Madrid.

But Lopez put an end to the speculation by saying he wanted to stay at the Bernabeu, even though he is likely to lose his place in the starting line-up now Mourinho has returned to the Blues.
