Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy is happy to be mentioned as an England candidate.

Ruddy was outstanding for Norwich's 0-0 draw with Chelsea on Saturday.

"It's nice to be linked with England but I know that only happens if I'm playing well with Norwich," said Ruddy. "That's the main thing and like I say I've got my wedding on June 2, so we'll see what happens. It would obviously be a great honour for me and my family to get in the squad.

"If I get the call, I'll ask the missus. I'm sure I can get a the day off and take her on holiday to Poland and Ukraine - kill two birds with one stone."
