Norwich go for Cardiff boss Mackay

Norwich City are moving for Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay to replace Paul Lambert.

The Scottish Sun says Mackay has worked wonders at Cardiff - leading them to the Carling Cup Final and Championship play-offs.

He is viewed as the ideal successor to Paul Lambert who quit on Wednesday and is poised to join Aston Villa.

But Norwich face a huge compensation fee to secure Mackay's release.
