Norwich forward Josh Murphy on target but MK Dons floored by Derby

Josh Murphy scored his second goal of the season as MK Dons were eventually beaten by Derby County on Saturday.

The 20-year-old England U20 international fired home a 60th-minute equaliser for the Dons after they fell behind at home to Bradley Johnson's strike in the 53rd minute.

Murphy, who is on a season-long loan from Norwich City, controlled a neat cross from Simon Church before rifling beyond Scott Carson with his left foot from close range.

However, the Dons were cut down by late goals from Darren Bent and Tom Ince to succumb to their fifth straight defeat which has them sitting second bottom on the tier two table.

The promising youngster, who has made six appearances for MK this term, was gutted by the result at Stadium:mk on the weekend.
