Newcastle United are ready to send goalkeeper Fraser Forster away on-loan.

Norwich are likely to get the nod to retain Forster for another season on loan at Carrow Road after making the step-up to the Championship, but there is also strong interest from both Leeds United and Rangers, says the Evening Chronicle.

Forster was a revelation last season, keeping 25 clean sheets in 46 matches, firstly for Bristol Rovers and then in Norwich City's League One title-winning side.
