Norwich do not expect to lose chief scout Chester to Chelsea until after market

Norwich City do not expect to lose chief scout Ewan Chester to Chelsea until the end of the summer market.

The Pink Un says new Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is understood to be taking on two new scouts as part of his backroom team, bringing in Chester for a leading role, along with former Wimbledon talent-spotter Roger Smith.

City said he had agreed to stay until August 31 to assist the club's scouting operation during the summer transfer window.

Along with Norwich, Chester spent two seasons at Fulham.
