Norwich City defender Russell Martin was delighted with victory over Swansea City.

Martin, a left-back who was once again outstanding, headed home during the 3-1 win.

He said: "This is a great result. It was a test to see how far we have come after last year. I think we deserved the win.

"You can see from the way we play that the lads are really confident and they are all on top of their game.

"When you have wingers tracking back 70 yards and making tackles, you know you are on to something special.

"That's what has got us here these last two years. We are all working hard.

"Pilks has done well and so has Bennett. Pilks deserved his goal as people spoke about his miss at Manchester United and now he has popped up with two important goals.

"Misses happen. Great players miss chances.

"The confidence is flowing throughout the team and we have a group of characters who believe in themselves."
