Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong says he's confident of winning his battle with Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.

Cameroon international Bassong is confident 22-goal Big Ben will not be striking again at Carrow Road.

Bassong said: "Benteke's a good player but there are a lot of good players in the Premier League.

"As a defender you play against great strikers week in, week out so Benteke is just another one I have to deal with.

"Benteke is a big man who has scored a lot of goals. He is good in the air and good with his feet.

"But if you want to be a top defender in this league you have to be able to play against all sorts of strikers."
