Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong admits he may've injured Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on Saturday.

Bassong insisted he had not intended to hurt the England forward but admitted that it was an uncompromising challenge that typified Norwich's determination to strangle Arsenal's attacking play.

"We ran down the channel and had a little battle," said the former Spurs and Newcastle defender. "I kicked the ball and took a little bit of everything. I didn't intend to hurt him but I can't deny I took him and the ball."
