Norwich City are confident prising Gary Hooper away from Celtic.

The Scottish Sun says the Canaries will re-enter the running to land the Celtic hitman, after seeing four offers thrown out in January.

But their next approach will be nowhere near the £8million mark they first offered for the Hoops top scorer.

Canaries gaffer Chris Hughton believes he can land Hooper for just £4.5m now he has entered the final year of his contract. But this week's initial offer could even be lower as they test the water with the clock ticking down towards the August transfer deadline.
