Norwich boss Neil plays down Bruce comments regarding chase for Hull winger Brady

Norwich City manager Alex Neil insists he is unconcerned by Steve Bruce's comments regarding the club's bid for Hull City's Robbie Brady.

It is no secret that the Canaries are interested in signing Republic of Ireland international Brady this summer but they have so far failed with three different offers for the winger.

Norwich's initial £3million proposal for Brady was slammed as being 'embarrassing' by Tigers boss Steve Bruce recently.

Despite the less than gracious comments from the Hull manager, Neil has stated his desire to keep persisting in his pursuit of signing Brady and insisted that Bruce's comments do not concern him.

Neil told the Norwich Evening News: "Steve Bruce can say what he likes. It doesn't make any difference to us. We go about our business in an unassuming way. We just do our own thing. We don't try and put things in the press.

"If they want to do that, that is fine. We are working on things and I don't really like to get into individuals but as everybody is aware Robbie Brady is a player we like.

"We have made a few bids and there is interest, but at the moment we have to wait and see what is going to happen."
