Norwich City boss Alex Neil insists he's willing to hold onto Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

The Dutchman has been linked with Sporting CP.

But Neil told the Pink 'Un: "Time will tell what happens from here. I have had a good chat with Ricky and as far as I am concerned everything that has gone past, as it had done with the likes of Seb (Bassong), has now gone past. It is irrelevant what other people think of him.

"All he needs to worry about is what I think of him."
