Norwich City boss Paul Lambert admits he's likely to be active in the January market.

Lambert has already drawn up a list of possible recruits for when the winter transfer window opens.

He told the Pink'Un: "We have to look to give the players a hand in that window. That is for sure.

"It's not a great time to spend money because you can buy for the sake of buying or you can panic buy - which I won't do. If we can get ones in for the right amount of money we'll try.

"I've got one or two in my mind, but it's a different thing going and getting them. I'll need to wait until nearer the time."
