Norwich City manager Paul Lambert insists he has some targets for January but will not make the mistake of 'panic' buying.
The Scottish tactician is keen to strengthen the Canaries squad, which currently sits ninth on the table, but says he will not just go out and spend money for the sake of it.
"We have to look to give the players a hand in that window. That is for sure," he told Pink 'Un.
"It's not a great time to spend money because you can buy for the sake of buying or you can panic buy - which I won't do. If we can get ones in for the right amount of money we'll try.
"I've got one or two in my mind, but it's a different thing going and getting them. I'll need to wait until nearer the time."
