Norwich boss Lambert keen to see Borussia Dortmund clash with Arsenal

Norwich City boss Paul Lambert is looking forward to Borussia Dortmund's Champions League date with Arsenal.

Lambert won the Champions League with the German side in 1997 and is pleased to see them doing well again under Jurgen Klopp.

"I'll watch the game," said Lambert, who was the first British player to win the European Cup with a foreign team.

"Winning the Bundesliga last year was an extraordinary feat. Jurgen has them playing well with some terrific young players. The club is absolutely massive. The Westfalen is an unbelievable arena to play football in and the fans are special. I had a fantastic time and played with some world-class players. The fan base was extraordinary. The club deserves Champions League football because of the fan base that it's got. It will be a hard, hard game as everybody knows. They are a very good side, Dortmund."
