Norwich continued to clinch points late in the game with a 2-1 home victory over Millwall, the winner arriving in the 90th minute. Canaries boss Paul Lambert lauded his side's determination to fight to the very end.
Lambert said: "This group of players have got a great desire to win, a great desire to not get beat. That sort of desire can get you a long way in football and is sometimes underestimated. Would I go into battle with them? Absolutely.
"We played well in certain stages and not so well in others but you rarely get a complete performance. The lads kept going, got their reward in the end and I can't praise them highly enough, I really can't.
"Another two players chipped in with goals and that was also pleasing. When your strikers aren't scoring, it's important that goals come from other areas. It's a team game and it doesn't matter who scores."
