Norwich City boss Paul Lambert is full of pride over their point at Wigan Athletic.
The Canaries are already off the mark thanks to their 1-1 draw at the DW.
Lambert, whose team deservedly earned a point in their first Premier League game for six years, admitted: "I think the rise has been huge in two years.
"Two years ago Norwich were playing Colchester in League One. That's the magnitude of what has happened. If you'd told me two years ago that we would be taking a point from Wigan on the opening day of the Premier League I would have taken you away in a straitjacket.
"We have come a long, long way in a short space of time. I make no apologies for it, I'd rather be here than not. And if we can survive in the Premier League that will surpass anything we've done so far."
