Norwich City boss Paul Lambert admits he's fed-up with preseason friendlies.
The Canaries ended their warm-up matches with a confident 3-0 win over Serie A side Parma at Carrow Road on Saturday.
Striker Grant Holt opened the scoring, with winger Andrew Surman adding a brace, but Lambert said: "I am so sick of friendlies.
"I never liked them as a player, and I still don't like them as a manager - I'm glad the competitive stuff is starting.
"We'll be up against a good Wigan side and it will be tough, but we've earned the right to go and play."
