Norwich City boss Paul Lambert expects the January market to produce "mayhem".

Lambert expects to be offered plenty of players next month but will think carefully about the newcomers he wants to bring to Carrow Road.

"It's part of the game with agents. You have to go with it," he told the Eastern Daily Press.

"Sometimes if the phone rings I'll think 'no' and sometimes I'll think 'yes' - that is the game.

"January will be like any other January - mayhem."
