Norwich City boss Paul Lambert admits the release of the Premier League fixtures handed him a major dose of reality.
Newly-promoted Canaries face an opening-day trip to Wigan - but soon run up against the big boys.
And Lambert admits: "When you see back-to-back away games at Manchester United then Liverpool in October, it just shows the level we've worked hard to get to.
"But we have earned the right to be here."
Norwich chief executive David McNally added: "The challenge is simply to earn the right to stay in the Premier League. That is our only target."
