Norwich City boss Chris Hughton is excited about their loan deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Kane signed for the Canaries on Friday.

Hughton said: "Harry is a goalscorer. He has a good pedigree at Spurs and he is highly thought of. They were only going to let him out to a Premier League team because he had very a good experience at Millwall where he scored goals. If it wasn't a Premier League team then he would not have gone out on loan. He is a wonderful talent and we hope we can develop him.

"We searched and we made lots of phone calls and sometimes a little surprise one pops up. If you speak to the Millwall supporters about his contribution they will tell you all about him. Tottenham feel he has got improvements in his game to come."
