Norwich boss Hughton denies seeking Newcastle revenge

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has no thoughts of revenge over Newcastle United.

Hughton was unceremoniously axed by the Magpies in December 2010, despite the side being in mid-table after promotion. He is still held in high regard by the Toon Army and received a warm reception when Norwich played at St James' Park in September.

However, while he admitted he enjoys the admiration from Newcastle fans, with Norwich having lost their last four Premier League games Hughton is focused solely on picking up a key win.

"Of course it is a nice feeling, it is probably an appreciation of the job I did," he said.

"But as soon as that whistle blows, it is about trying to play well enough to get the points. Anything at Newcastle is not my concern. My only concern is the job I am doing."
