Norwich City boss Chris Hughton was delighted with Nathan Redmond's form in midweek for England U21.
Redmond scored the winner in victory over Wales.
That will give Nathan a major lift. He is a young player who is heading in the right direction and gaining valuable Premier League experience," said Hughton. "I have no doubts those experiences this season have put him in good stead to achieve what he did this week for his country - not just his goal but in terms of a good performance. That will help his development. If we had a choice we would still rather see more of our players involved internationally than not because they are gaining valuable experience and it adds to their overall quality."
