Norwich City boss Chris Hughton is confident Andre Villas-Boas will win over Tottenham fans.
Hughton has recovered well from the horrendous opening-day impressions of City's 5-0 thrashing at Fulham.
And talking about new Spurs chief AVB, he said: "I think I worked for eight managers here. And it's normal for the fans to boo because the expectations are high, but I'm sure he will be successful.
"Supporters are the same everywhere - they are emotional individuals and sometimes they air their views.
"We just tried to stifle a very good Spurs team and also create chances, which we did.
"We've changed quite a few members of the team since the first day of the season, but not just because we were so poor that day.
"I take responsibility for that performance as well - I put the team together and, in hindsight, I would have done it in a different way."
