Norwich boss Hughton admits he wants Leeds striker Becchio

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton hopes to sign Leeds United striker Luciano Becchio today.

Following the 1-1 draw with Tottenham which extended Norwich's winless run in the Barclays Premier League to seven matches, Hughton confirmed talks with Leeds.

He said: "The clubs are in discussion and that's one that I hope gets done."

Steve Morison could move to Elland Road as part of the Becchio switch.

Hughton added: "Whether that has to be part of the deal or not, I don't know. That's what the talks are."
