Norwich boss Farke expects Newcastle target Murphy to stay

Norwich City manager Daniel Farke believes that Jacob Murphy will be staying put at Carrow Road this summer.

Murphy was one of the star performers in the English Championship last season and Premier League side Newcastle United are desperately looking to sign the young attacker this summer.

Newcastle are already said to have had a bid of around £10m for Murphy rejected.

And now Norwich manager Daniel Farke has gone on to state that he expects the 22-year-old to stay put at Carrow Road beyond the end of the current transfer window.

Farke told the Evening Chronicle: "I don't take part in the speculation or rumours. Jacob returned on Saturday and did some tests. I'm looking forward to working with him."
