Norwich boss Adams staying clear of legal plans over Sunderland row

Norwich City boss Neil Adams is ignoring rumours of a legal attempt by the club over Sunderland's Ji Dong-won controversy.

Sunderland were fined rather than had points deducted after irregularities emerged following a loan spell for the South Korean international in German football. Norwich have not issued an official response but Adams revealed he is aware of the on-going issue.

"It is not for me. I am not ducking that one. It is for the board and the legal team at the club," he told the Pink 'Un. "I'm sure they will look at it and if there is something there that is for them. It is not a football-related matter so I don't feel I need to comment on it. Obviously I am well aware of what happens. They are aware of the situation like I am but my brief is purely football matters."
