Norwich boss Adams ignoring doubters

Norwich City caretaker boss Neil Adams insists they can still beat the drop.

They travel to Manchester United and Chelsea before hosting Arsenal on that final weekend, seemingly still in need of at least three points to pull off their survival mission.

"No doubt people will now question if we have what it takes in the final three games to get ourselves out of it, and I think at 3-1 down and 2-0 down (to Liverpool) the character is not in question," Adams told the Pink 'Un.

"Everyone has seen two performances under me and they have been first class. We probably should have won at Fulham and probably should have got something in the second-half performance against Liverpool, to push a team back and dominate the ball and create the chances.

"You get what you deserve in football…and in the second half we have pushed a team all the way who are likely to win the title. However many points it needs - nine to play for, whether it is four, five, six, whatever. We believe we can stay up."
