Norwich boss Paul Lambert conceded that Southampton deserved to end Norwich's record run of 11 consecutive home wins after Saturday's 2-0 defeat. "I don't think we deserved to get anything out of the game and it's not often that I've said that this season," he said.
"We were beaten by the better side on the day but we'll bounce back.
"Every team loses games every now and then, whatever level they play at, and I'm not going to start putting a dampener on what the lads have achieved so far this season just because of one defeat.
"They have done brilliantly and if someone had offered me top spot at this stage of the season back in August I would have taken it."
