Norwich boosted as Surman signs new deal

Norwich City midfielder Andrew Surman has signed a new three-year contract, keeping him at Carrow Road until 2015. "I think this has been the best season of my career. It was my second in the Premier League and it has been great," the 25 year old told the club website.

"I think everyone has enjoyed it, and it's exciting to see what is going to happen next season now."

New Canaries boss Chris Hughton added: "Since joining from Wolves he has continued to improve, and showed this by scoring some important goals in the Premier League last season.

"It's a deal that is well-deserved, and hopefully he can pick up where he left off when we get back for pre-season."
