Norwich City have been dealt a blow with news that Leroy Fer is set to miss at least six weeks.
The Dutch midfielder has been instrumental for the Canaries this season but is set for a spell on the sidelines after injuring his hamstring.
Goal.com reports that Fer sustained the problem at training on Thursday and will now undergo an MRI scan to assess the extent of the damage.
Fer, who could miss as many as ten weeks, has made 26 Premier League appearances, scoring three goals, since his summer move from Dutch club FC Twente.
